Stage construction pushed back the opening of the festival.
Ultra Korea began earlier today, but not after experiencing some difficulties. The festival was slated to open at 1:00 PM KST, but it was delayed until closer to 3:00 PM. The schedule change unfortunately cut into the performance time of local artists.
It appears that main stage construction was the reason for the delays, as the festival needed additional time to ensure that the stage was operating safely and properly.
After the delay and the opening of doors, everything went to plan and the festival continued. It appears that everything should be in working order for tomorrow's festivities as well.
Though the unexpected delays were unfortunate, fans were still able to enjoy the rest of the festivities and will be dancing along to the beats at day two.
