If it feels like Knife Party's EP should already be out, that's because it was supposed to. The Australian electro house duo have shared plans to finally release the effort - and in the process, revealed that it will go by the name Lost Souls EP.
Martin Garrix dropped the title track of the EP during his performance at EDC Las Vegas last weekend. Compared to "Ghost Train," a more house-oriented single that the duo (comprised of former Pendulum members Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swire) shared last month, it offers a more headbanger-friendly iteration of their signature sound.
Knife Party have not released an EP or album since Trigger Warning, a four-song effort which came out in 2015 via Earstorm Records/Big Beat Records. Prior to that, they put out the Haunted House EP in 2013.
Knife Party have yet to announce a specific release date or full tracklist for the Lost Souls EP at the time of writing.
